First Saturday Wappingers Falls

So many events are happening all day on First Saturday in the village of Wappingers Falls — it's a-May-zing! Held on the first Saturday of each month, First Saturdays are the perfect occasions to celebrate all that is wonderful in the Village of Wappingers Falls.

As part of this month's all-day celebration, the Wappingers Historical Society is offering a rare opportunity to step inside the original section of the Mesier Homestead, the first dwelling built in the village (the little house at the back of the Mesier Homestead). Previously used as a workshop by the village for many years, come see how the building would have looked when Nicholas Brower built it in 1742. Open 12 – 2 p.m.; enter by the front porch of the Homestead.

Also among Saturday's festivities, you can enjoy live music at di'Vine Wine Bar, attend the grand opening of Salt Boutique and bring the kids to a sewing workshop at the River Valley Arts Center, among many other things.
