About
Join us in Dutchess County the weekend of Sept. 7 and 8 for the annual Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck! The event is a true celebration of Hudson Valley wineries, distilleries, craft breweries, cideries, and specialty and gourmet foods — and it's a fun way to get a taste of all the wonderful products this region has to offer.
Several local Dutchess County craft beverage makers will be represented. Love New York wine? Local vino is the star of the show, including incredible releases from Milea Estates Vineyards and Millbrook Vineyards & Winery. For beer fans, hazy IPAs from Sloop Brewing Co. will surely win you over. Plus, this year's lineup has a very strong showing from Dutchess distillers. Sample bourbon, gin and other local liquors from Tenmile Distillery and Taconic Distillery.
As an added convenience, the festival offers a Wine Pick-Up Tent where you can have your wine and liquor purchases held for you until you leave. This way, you don't have to carry your purchases around with you all day.
Of course, make sure with all that sampling you keep something in your stomach. Luckily, the Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest features a bevy of mouthwatering specialty dishes. You’ll find local vendors offering everything from farm-fresh cheeses, farm-raised meats, salsa, barbecue sauce, pasta, baked goods, maple syrup, granola and more! And don’t just indulge, take some cooking tips and tricks home with you by attending one of the several cooking demonstrations led by celebrity chefs.
There will also be an assortment of popular food trucks on hand serving up more tasty treats, so bring your appetite!
