Enjoy an extraordinary, one-of-a-kind dining experience at the Culinary Institute of America — and pay less with the CIA's Winter Dining Deals, which will be available Jan. 11 – April 15 at the CIA's restaurants: American Bounty, The Bocuse Restaurant, and Ristorante Caterina de’ Medici. The Winter Dining Deals offer a three-course, prix-fixe lunch for $29 per person Tuesdays – Fridays, and a three-course, prix-fixe dinner for $50 per person Tuesdays – Thursdays. Plus, new this year, when you dine at CIA restaurants, you’ll receive a voucher for 10% off your next visit to Apple Pie Bakery Café. But wait, there's more! The CIA's Post Road Brew House will be reopening on Jan. 16 and will remain open on a limited-time, pop-up basis. With the CIA's Winter Dining Deals, you’ll receive 25% off your meal at the Post Road Brew House on Tuesdays – Thursdays through April 15.
Treat yourself to an assortment of luxurious spa treatments, health and wellness services, yoga, fitness classes and more, along with lavish accommodations and elegant on-site dining. Located a short drive from the Rhinecliff train station, Mirbeau was recognized by the prestigious Forbes Travel Guide with a Recommended Award in the FTG’s 2023 Star Awards. Forbes Travel Guide is a global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants, spas and cruises. The Reclaimed Motel recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of its grand opening, and to mark the occasion, guests who book a stay of two nights or more in January or February receive a 50% discount. Be sure to check out their new cedar sauna during your visit. This one-of-a-kind motel, originally named the Hearthstone Motel, has been a Red Hook landmark since 1960. In 2021, the new owners began renovating and upgrading the property with the goal of preserving the motel's history and providing exceptional comfort. The Reclaimed Motel is a throwback to the iconic motor lodge, and — true to its name — each of its rooms is uniquely decorated with hand-selected, second-hand vintage items, from tiles, doors and lighting to vinyl records, art and mirrors.
Perched on a 40-foot cliff overlooking the Hudson, this award-winning restaurant is famous both for its delicious array of progressive American dishes and its spectacular views of the river and surrounding highlands. What better way to spend a winter evening than enjoying a glass of wine and a savory selection from Shadows’ menu — the Truffle Mushroom Fettuccine, perhaps, or the Herb-Crusted Salmon — while gazing out at the lights of the iconic Mid-Hudson Bridge at dusk? If that’s not enough to entice you to dine on the Poughkeepsie Waterfront, perhaps this will be: From Jan. 2 through March 30, Shadows is offering a 25% discount off its entire menu for all dine-in guests. Snuggled in the charming Village of Pawling, the Station Inn is within walking distance of shops, fine dining and the Pawling Metro-North train station. Take a short ride to Daryl’s House, the restaurant and performance venue owned by Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer Daryl Hall. Or settle in for a long winter’s nap. The Station Inn offers several promotional packages throughout the year, including the “Escape the Winter Blues” package. Book a standard Queen room in December, January, February or March and receive a 15% discount on your entire stay.

Located on Beacon's vibrant Main Street, The Dutchess is within walking distance of shops, restaurants and attractions and about a 15-minute walk or a brief ride from the Beacon Metro-North train station. In the winter of 2024, The Dutchess will be rolling out its “Dark-Day Getaway” which will unlock discounts on overnight accommodations and spa services for artists and arts supporters on select weekdays (the traditional “dark days” on Broadway when the theaters are closed and the performers have the day off). As the folks at The Dutchess put it, “When Broadway sleeps, Beacon beckons.”

Troutbeck, which is a short ride from the Wassaic Metro-North train station, has a long history of welcoming guests to its tranquil property — including some rather prominent guests. Built in the 1700s, Troutbeck was the site of two early meetings of the NAACP. Attendees at these meetings, now known as the Amenia Conferences of 1916 and 1933, included Mary Ovington, a co-founder of the NAACP; and groundbreaking African American writer, sociologist and activist W.E.B. DuBois.
